Courtney Wissinger
Dance Instructor
Courtney Wissinger has been dancing professionally, performing and choreographing for over 15 years. She is a member of the Actors Equity Association and holds a B.F.A. in Acting and Theatre Performance from the University of Texas in Austin. She has studied jazz, ballet, music theatre, tap and ballroom dance at some of the top studios in Houston, Austin and NYC. As a choreographer, Courtney has created and performed several original pieces including 12:43am, Allelujah, Midnight, and Blood Moon, as well as choreographing musicals such as Once on This Island, Grease, and the Off-Broadway play, Worth. She has also performed in regional and touring productions of A Chorus Line, West Side Story, Tommy, Carousel and Guys and Dolls to name a few. Courtney has taught all types of dance throughout Texas and NYC to all ages. Career highlights include singing at Carnegie Hall, opening for the rock band Blues Traveler, performing Shakespeare in NYC, and dancing and teaching in NYC.
