The 92Y Wonderplay™ Conference, now in its fifth year, brings together early learning professionals with prominent leaders in education, child & family development and researchers from the national and international community.

Learn how the brain develops during the first five years of a child’s life; why this is a critical time for language, sensory motor and emotional growth; and what you can do to support this in your classroom and school community.

Breakout sessions include workshops for teachers with less than 3 years in the classroom, experienced teachers, school directors and special needs educators.

Past presenters include faculty from NYU, Teachers College, Bank Street College, CCNY, Queens College, Leslie University, Reggio Emilia, the Child Mind Institute, Erikson Institute, Early Steps, Alliance for Childhood, Early Childhood Direction Center at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Soifer Center for Learning & Child Development, 92Y and teachers from nursery schools and New York City public school kindergartens and preschools.

Note: All Conference attendees will receive a 92Y Wonderplay Conference Certificate of Completion, including the number of hours and the workshop titles that they have attended.

The 92Y Vivian Gussin Paley Award for Early Childhood Excellence will be presented to the first classroom teacher to receive this award during the morning session.
