92Y’s music school, established in 1917, provides a creative space where professional musicians and teachers share the joy of music with students of all ages and levels.

We offer personalized instruction, advanced music study, master classes, ensembles, performance opportunities and music appreciation. 92Y’s annual concert series features stellar artists from around the world performing classical, jazz, American songbook, guitar, world music and more. 92Y provides musicians of all ages and levels opportunities to explore music on stage, in the classroom and in the studio, alongside exceptional performing and recording artists.

The School of Music offers programs for musicians and music enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds through performance, ensembles, private study, courses, lectures and workshops. Our faculty members are professionally trained, highly experienced and dedicated to nurturing students at every level.

  • 16 45-minute lessons: $1,360 ($85 per lesson)
