Renee' Flemings is originally from Louisville, Kentucky, and currently resides in New York, by way of Lansing, Michigan. Renee spent the summers of her childhood in the small southern towns that populate her plays and live in her memory. She has been the writer for ZINC, a private organization that specializes in utilizing drama as part of their life skills programs. Her plays have been produced in New York City and various regional theatre festivals, and her work has been seen and featured on several national sports programs, as they focus on the NFL, NBA and other professional development programs for athletes. Renee' is also an educator, working with several arts in education programs in New York City public Schools, including 92nd Street Y’s Musical Introduction Series. In addition to her work as an actor and writer, Renee' is a singer/director and co-producer of SoReel Productions, whose latest project is entitled Wine Noir.
