DEL 20th Anniversary Movement Sentence Choir—FREE EVENT
Sun, Feb 1, 1:30-5:30 pm
Celebrate Dance Education Laboratory's 20th Anniversary with a great event facilitated by Summation Dance with Sidra Bell (Sidra Bell Dance New York), Mike Esperanza (Bare Dance), and Kendra Portier (BAND Portier). Summation Dance will be orchestrating a Movement Sentence Choir, inspired by Rudolf Laban's famous movement choirs. Together we will present a beautiful Movement Sentence Choir.
Guest choreographers Sidra Bell, Mike Esperanza and Kendra Portier will create movement with participants based on the movement sentence. The performance will also include cameo appearances by special guests dancing their version. Don't miss your chance to participate, perform and celebrate 20 years of DEL!
The event will be on 92Y Livestream so dancers across the nation will be able to tune-in and participate. Tell your friends!
