The Art Center is proud to offer a variety of courses and workshops in fine art for children, teens and adults.
Classes are taught by professional artists who provide individual instruction in small group settings. Students at all levels—from true beginner to seasoned artist—find their imaginations challenged as they develop new skills or perfect old ones. Short-term workshops with visiting artists and our faculty, as well as lectures with major visual artists, round out the program.
The Art Center's five fine art studios are equipped with easels, stools, drawing tables, painting tables, sculpture stands, slop sinks and ventilation fans to accommodate all types of drawing, watercolor, painting and figure sculpture classes.
Students must purchase their own art supplies and are provided with a supply list upon registration. A limited number of lockers are available for students to rent for a nominal fee on a yearly basis. Students can check on locker availability during the first week of the fall and spring semesters.
