Doron Langberg (b.1985), originally from Israel, recently graduated from the Yale School of Art MFA program and is currently living and working in New York City. He holds a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania, a Certificate from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and attended the Yale Summer School of Music and Art, Norfolk. Doron’s work addresses issues of gender and sexuality, attempting to make ‘queerness’ a shared experience through the tactility and sensuality of oil paint. His work was exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Tokyo and Tel Aviv and reviewed in New American Paintings, American Artist Drawing Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia City Paper. Doron is the recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant and the Yale Schoelkopf Travel Prize. For more works and information you can visit his website–www.doronlangberg.com
