Meghan Calhoun

Meghan Calhoun makes abstract paintings that employ loose geometries through a casual directness. She received an MFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2007. She has exhibited in New York, Providence, Boston, Philadelphia and Phoenix. Recent shows include The New Rationalists at Proof Gallery in Boston, May-December at Memorial Hall Gallery in Providence and Fences, a public art project at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Meghan was recently selected to be an artist-in-residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts. She is based in Brooklyn, NY.
