The 92Y Teen Center will be creating volunteer opportunities for teens to participate in the re-building effort for our community and our city. Ongoing information will be posted on this site.
About Teensgiving
TEENSGIVING is an annual one-day-only event in which over 700 high school teenagers and 100 adult volunteers participate in different community service projects all throughout New York City.
Last year the teens joined with Adopt a US Soldier, Pediatric Cancer Foundation, LES Ecology Center, Make A Child Smile, Hearthstone Alzheimer Center, United Cerebral Palsy, Jamie Rose Center, Convenant House, A Tail At A Time, Women-In-Need, Partnership for Parks and the Abraham Residence (to name a few) in providing much-needed community assistance. This year will include much of the same!
Student volunteers earn 6 Hours of Community Service Credit for joining the effort.
Thanks to all who participated in past TEENSGIVING events, helping to make these events such a success!
