Founded in 1982, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA) is a media-monitoring, research and membership organization devoted to promoting accurate and balanced coverage of Israel and the Middle East.
The annual program features a leading journalist or scholar interviewed by Warren Kozak, a prominent writer who is frequently published in The Wall Street Journal and elsewhere.
The tidal wave of political revolution sweeping the Middle East has not brought democracy to the region, as was first hoped. Brief Bios
Walter Russell Mead is the James Clark Chase Professor of Foreign Affairs and Humanities at Bard College and Editor-at-Large of The American Interest. From 1997 to 2010, Mr. Mead was a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, serving as the Henry A. Kissinger Senior Fellow for U.S. Foreign Policy from 2003 until his departure. Until 2011, he was also a Brady-Johnson Distinguished Fellow in Grand Strategy at Yale, where he had taught in the Yale International Security Studies Program since 2008.
Over the past quarter-of-a-century, Warren Kozak has worked as a writer for some of television’s most prestigious network anchors. Mr. Kozak was an on-air reporter for National Public Radio. From 1985 - 86, he lived and worked as a radio journalist in Beijing, China. In 1993-94, he won the prestigious Benton Fellowship at the University of Chicago. His work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Sun as well as other newspapers and magazines. His first book, The Rabbi Of 84th Street, was published by HarperCollins in July, 2004. In May, 2009, his biography of the controversial U.S. Air Force General, LeMay: The Life and Wars of General Curtis LeMay was published by Regnery.
