Founded in 1982, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA) is a media-monitoring, research and membership organization devoted to promoting accurate and balanced coverage of Israel and the Middle East.

The annual program features a leading journalist or scholar interviewed by Warren Kozak, a prominent writer who is frequently published in The Wall Street Journal and elsewhere.

The tidal wave of political revolution sweeping the Middle East has not brought democracy to the region, as was first hoped. Instead, the dramatic and bloody regime-changes have ushered in powerful Islamist parties that threaten the stability of the region, put peace agreements with Israel in jeopardy and could set in motion regional conflict. Is there any way to stop this slow-motion disaster? Professor Mead’s deep and wide-ranging knowledge of the region, as well as his fresh ideas on geopolitics offer answers, insight and fascinating discussion on this key question of our time.
