Carol Gretter

Carol is a registered architect and a LEED Accredited Professional. With in-depth experience in both large-scale institutional work and intimate custom residential projects, Carol brings a unique set of design and management skills to her work.

Growing up on a farm in rural Iowa, Carol learned to appreciate the land and the influence weather and nature has on daily life. In her professional experience, she has found that this influence is critically important to the design and effect buildings have on their environment.

Carol’s passion for design has also led her to become an educator. She teaches and leads discussions on a broad spectrum of design-related topics at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum and at the Guggenheim Museum.

In addition to architecture and design, Carol has partnered with two other professionals to start A.W.O.L. – All Walks of Life™, a multimedia forum for creative professionals to express, share and inspire ideas across disciplines.
