About Educational Outreach
Founded in 1874, 92nd Street Y is one of the world’s leading cultural and community centers, dedicated to promoting individual and family development and participation in civic life; as such, we seek to create, provide and disseminate programs of distinction.
92Y’s Center for Educational Outreach operates one of the largest community outreach programs of all New York City cultural institutions, providing valuable educational resources, teacher training and on-site development programs to more than 16,000 public school students at 42 public schools. 92Y offers education outreach to the schools in art, music, dance, literature, STEM and STEAM programs for students in grades K-12, and has been doing so for over 26 years.
