Carla Aurich received an MFA from the University of Iowa with a focus in painting and printmaking. She has lived and worked in New York City since 1998. In addition to teaching at 92nd Street Y, she is an instructor of painting, drawing, printmaking and design at Yeshiva University, an instructor at the Abruzzi Mountain Workshop and has taught a summer program for the SUNY school system. She is a recipient of a NYA 9/11 grant, Pelzer-Lynch fellowship and a Who's Who among American Teachers and Educators. Carla's work is exhibited nationally and internationally including recent shows No Chromophobia, OK Harris Gallery, 2008, and Runnels Gallery at Eastern New Mexico University, 2009. Melanie Kozol

Melanie Kozol has been exploring the contemporary landscape since graduating Connecticut College. She attended The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and earned an MFA from the School of Visual Arts. Melanie was awarded an NEA Visual Artist Fellowship in painting and received a Skowhegan Scholarship for Drawing at NYSS.
In addition to teaching painting and drawing at the School of the Arts, 92nd Street Y, Melanie is a visiting instructor at Pratt Institute. Her work has been widely exhibited including Project Room 88, Kathryn Markel Fine Arts, Weber Fine Art, Alexander Gallery, DFN and Bussaco. Her paintings are included in numerous public and private collections including the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Pfizer Corporation, Deutsche Bank, Bellagio Hotel and Triomphe at the Iroquois Hotel. Tirtzah Bassel is an Israeli artist currently living and working in New York. In addition to working primarily in oil and intaglio, she is involved in collaborations and performances. She studied drawing and painting at the Jerusalem Studio School in Israel and is a recent graduate of the Boston University MFA Program. Solo and two person exhibitions include 'Pieces of Change' at SoloGallery, Tel-Aviv in 2006, 'In Bodies That Don't Keep' at Commonwealth Gallery in Boston in 2009, and her Thesis Show at 808 Gallery at Boston University in 2010. Eligible patrons will be able to order priority registration online.
Who is eligible for priority registration?
Individuals who have participated in 92nd Street Y programs over the past year in selected program areas, participants in certain memberships, and those who have made contributions of $500 or more to 92Y, are eligible to register for programs before they become available to the general public.
How do I know if I qualify?
Patrons that qualify for Priority Registration will receive packets in the mail explaining how to purchase online. Priority registration is normally mailed 2-3 weeks before a catalog is available. Registration information includes your Patron ID#. You can use this ID# to setup your login information online. This will allow you to register early for a course or event. Please note: if you receive a packet, you are only eligible to priority register for the programs covered in your packet.
