    Susan Cottle is a painter who received her M.F.A. cum laude from The New York Academy of Art Graduate School of Figurative Art, and her B.F.A. from Montserrat College of Art. She is currently Part-time Assistant Professor of Art at New School University and Parsons School of Design. She has taught at The New York Academy of Art, St. John's University and various institutions in Italy, including Montserrat College of Art, Viterbo, St. John's University, Rome and Studio Art Centers International in Florence. In 2008, Susan was featured in a one-person exhibition at St. John's University Manhattan. Recent two-person and group exhibitions have included Synagogue for the Arts, The Painting Center SoHo, The Hudson Guild, Wyndham Fine Arts, and Island Weiss Gallery. In 2010, Susan was awarded an Artist Residency by the National Park Service, in the Petrified Forest, Arizona.

    James Sheehan studied art history and fine arts at U.C. Berkeley and pursued graduate work at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, and in Rome, Italy. He moved to New York City in 1994. Recently, he has shown in various group exhibitions at the Haus der Kunst in Munich, Germany, The Contemporary Art Factory in Tokyo, Japan, and the Brooklyn Museum, Rotunda Gallery and Ronald Feldman Gallery in New York. His solo exhibitions include the M du B, F, H & G Gallery in Montreal, Québec and the Galerie Schedler in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2001, he spoke about his work with Mouhktar Kocache at the Whitney Museum of Art as part of a program entitled "I.P.O. New Artists, New Curators." His awards include the ARCUS residency in Japan, LMCC 'World Views' residency in 2000, The Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation and the Pollock-Krasner grant.     While attending the Universtiy of Massachusetts, Nancy Johnson was awarded a grant from the Ford Foundation for her outstanding undergraduate work and a Strathmore Paper Award for her excellence in drawing. After receiving her MFA degree Nancy taught painting and drawing at several institutions including Mount Wachusett Community College, Westfield State College and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. As an adjunct at the University of Massachusetts Nancy participated in launching the first Summer Abroad Program in La Napoule, France and Brugge, Belgium where she and her colleagues instructed a group of 35 BFA students in painting and drawing.

    Nancy’s work ranges from paintings of the still life, and portrait to works based in the abstract expressionist tradition. Her work has been exhibited in Maine, Massachusetts and New York. Recent shows include The New Rationalists at Proof Gallery in Boston, May-December at Memorial Hall Gallery in Providence and Fences, a public art project at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Meghan was recently selected to be an artist-in-residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts. She is based in Brooklyn, NY.

92Y YourStage provides a venue for independent curators, performers, and educators to mount a professional production. Yourstage events are confirmed once they meet a threshold for ticket sales by a certain date.

YourStage events that are ON have been confirmed; PENDING events need to generate more ticket sales; If an event fails to generate enough ticket sales, the event will be CALLED OFF, and all ticket holders will be refunded.

Who is eligible for priority registration?

Individuals who have participated in 92nd Street Y programs over the past year in selected program areas, participants in certain memberships, and those who have made contributions of $500 or more to 92Y, are eligible to register for programs before they become available to the general public.

How do I know if I qualify?

Patrons that qualify for Priority Registration will receive packets in the mail explaining how to purchase online. Priority registration is normally mailed 2-3 weeks before a catalog is available. Registration information includes your Patron ID#. You can use this ID# to setup your login information online. This will allow you to register early for a course or event. Please note: if you receive a packet, you are only eligible to priority register for the programs covered in your packet.
