Danny Pollock has been teaching folk dance for more than 30 years at JCCs, synagogues, dance camps, dance weekends, festivals and special events. As a child, he learned Israeli and international folk dance, is ballet trained, and has trained in Jazz, tap, Afro-Caribbean, square, contra and Scottish dance styles. He has performed in several Israeli dance troupes and was Dance Assistant to the Director of New York’s annual Israeli Folk Dance Festival & Festival of the Arts. He has choreographed a repertoire of folk dances for children, and has trained teachers through specialized workshops.
