Led by Karina Zilberman, Director of Jewish Family Life and Culture and winner of the Covenant Award, these programs offer wonderful opportunities for young children and their families to celebrate Judaism and connect to one another.

Shababa™ Fridays with Karina
Join Karina Zilberman and her puppet friend Coco every Friday to welcome Shabbat with songs, stories, challah and snacks. Enjoy a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and give your toddler an opportunity to embrace the festive feeling of Shabbat. LEARN MORE
Shababa™ Saturday Mornings with Karina - FREE
Celebrate the joys of Shabbat with the Shababa™ community in this intergenerational family Shabbat experience including singing, art projects, playground visits, holiday themed celebrations and more! Saturdays, ongoing, 10:30 am-12 pm.
Shababa™ Saturday Club - FREE
Let your child explore and expand their connection to Shabbat, Jewish holidays and values in a warm, informal communal setting. Our Jewish Family Life Program Coordinator will engage them through creative and traditional approaches. Younger siblings can come at 10:30 am. Saturdays, ongoing, 10:30 am-12 pm.
High Holiday Family Services

Shababa™ Community Dinners
Join families for warm, spirited Shabbat and holiday dinners, which include singing, arts and crafts, delicious food and wine and the chance to make new friends and share memories. No experience celebrating Shabbat necessary. LEARN MORE
Shababa™ Pajama Havdalah with Karina & Matt - FREE
Come in your pajamas to a Shabbat goodbye party. Smell the spices, watch the candle shine, sing and munch on healthy snacks. Families with kids of all ages are welcome. LEARN MORE
Shababa™ Mamas
Meet twice a month at 92Y for a stress free and rockin' rehearsal and perform at fun events throughout the year. If you're a music-lover, play an instrument or sing, please contact Karina Zilberman, Director of Jewish Family Life and Culture, for further information. Aunts and grandmothers are welcome.
