Anika Selhorst

Director, 92Y Art Center

Anika Selhorst is pleased to be joining 92Y as its Art Center Director. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Anika moved to New York City in 2000 to pursue a life in the arts. Her career has been dedicated to joining communities and institutions to provide diverse audiences with high quality arts experiences. Prior to joining 92Y, she directed City Lore’s in-school program, a nationally recognized model for integrating social studies, arts and community resources in NYC public schools. She is also an adjunct lecturer at The City College of New York. A visual artist, Anika holds a master’s degree in Arts in Education from Harvard University, and received her undergraduate degree from Brown University. Anika lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Joseph, and daughter, Ruba.
