92Y After-School Programs

92Y After-School Programs

The 92Y After-School Program runs from Monday through Friday, September through June, 3 to 6 pm during the 2011-12 school year. Our staff of counselors and specialists provide a safe and fun-filled environment where children can always feel like they are at home.

92Y After-School combines after-school childcare and enrichment programs for children from kindergarten through sixth grade. Children attend one to five days per week. Programs are organized by grade level. Snacks are provided. Tuition is based on the number of days and selection of programs.

Program: Enrichment classes include: drawing and painting, metalwork and jewelry, cartooning, sculpture and pottery, ballet, jazz, tap, modern dance, music technology, swim, tennis, gymnastics, soccer, basketball, cooking, tae kwon do and more. Private music lessons may be scheduled. Children may elect to use the 92Y After-School
Homework Center before or after their scheduled classes.

Transportation to 92Y: Children come from school with the 92Y After-School
Transportation Service (school bus/van, walkers depending on distance from 92Y) and 92Y After-School staff accompanies children from school directly to
92Y After-School rooms. Transportation is provided from P.S. 6, Solomon Schechter East and West, P.S. 151, P.S. 158, Lab School, P.S. 198, Manhattan New School, P.S. 183, Hunter and
