Join us for an offbeat and smart Jewish education happy-hour. Have for a drink, and then have your mind blown.

Much of mainstream 20th century American comedy can be traced back to the early television work of Sid Caesar through programs like “Your Show of Shows” and “Caesar’s Hour.” Caesar’s writing staff and in-house actors included many who would become the leading lights of American comedy including Woody Allen Mel Brooks, Larry Gelbart and Carl Reiner. We will look at a variety of clips from the 50s through 1970s and trace the development of an American Jewish sensibility in American comedy.

Tickets: $10 in advance / $12 day of event.
