Programs for Children with Special Needs
Our programs for children and teens with special needs are designed by experts and led by skilled teachers and experienced staff.
We start by focusing on your child's abilities—and how we can help him or her engage with others in their setting, class or program. Through a wide variety of activities, we foster social skills, build fine and gross motor skills, enhance communication and language, support intellectual development, and provide exceptional opportunities for growth. Nesher After-School Program
The Nesher after-school program provides recreation-based programs for 5-to-16-year-olds with special needs, including developmental disabilities, speech and language delays, learning disabilities, PDD, Asperger’s syndrome, and autism.
Camps for Children with Special Needs
Camp Tova and Bari Tov provide children with an exciting camp experience within a nurturing and supportive environment. Each day, our campers are transported in comfortable, air-conditioned buses to our campgrounds in Rockland County. There, they participate in a variety of camp activities, such as swimming, sports, art, music, nature and trips, which are designed to foster each child’s emotional, social and physical growth.
No matter how small or great a child's challenges might be, 92Y provides a variety of sport opportunities for children and teens of any ability. Our knowledgeable staff will provide children with all types of needs an enriching and entertaining experience.
Our swim program provides a comfortable environment to build confidence and have fun in the water. We focus on the unique attributes of each swimmer customized for each child's emotional and developmental abilities, with the goal of learning the life-saving skill of swimming.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah Tutoring
Everyone one is unique and we feel that your Bar/Bat Mitzvah should be too. Our approach is simple as we mold the experience to the family and child’s needs and abilities.
Enjoy Judaism—don’t just memorize it!
