About the Artist:
Ruth Reifen, Brooklyn based Jewelry Artist received her BFA in Jewelry Design from Shenkar College in Israel and her MFA in Jewelry +Metals from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has presented in galleries and museums in Israel, Europe and the United States. Her work is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Art and Design, NY. She is currently working in the fashion jewelry industry in Manhattan, NY, as a jewelry designer and keeps her own studio practice in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Ruth teaches in the Jewelry department at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, in the Metals department at the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, at 92Y and at Brooklyn Metal Works.
