Welcome to the eighth issue of Podium! Students featured in this issue were selected from our Spring 2010 creative writing workshops in fiction, poetry, nonfiction and playwriting. We are proud to present the wide variety of styles and forms that make up our student body.
The 92Y Unterberg Poetry Center's Writing Program offers writers, from first-time to seasoned, the opportunity to take workshops with well-known authors/instructors that range from literary seminars to open-enrollment and advanced-level creative writing workshops. At the end of each semester, one student from each class is selected to showcase his/her work in Podium.
The featured artist in this issue is photographer Peter Pop.
We hope you enjoy the issue, and don't forget to check out our line-up of classes, now online!
