An introductory small group session offered every other Monday of each month
Two follow-up group sessions

Each follow-up group session will vary by topic, such as snacks, breakfast, dining out or ordering in, liquids, sugar/sweeteners, superfoods, kitchen essentials, portion distortion, sports nutrition, bloating/GI, Immune System, Supplements, fats vs. carbs, salt/heart health, dairy, organic/grass-fed, food trends, navigating the party spread, food allergies, etc.

Stephanie Middleberg, MS, RD, CDN, is the founder of Middleberg Nutrition, a health and wellness practice based in New York City. Stephanie believes nutrition should be a conversation, not a lecture and takes a pragmatic approach to eating healthy in a busy world. Instead of restricting her clients’ diets, she helps them build better relationships with food that compliment their diverse lifestyles. She understands that one diet does not fit all, and she works with her clients to create individualized meal plans they can actually adhere to. Her ability to cultivate an open and engaging environment, has led to relationships with thousands of clients and established her as one of the city’s most sought health experts.
Stephanie is consistently featured in top tier media including Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Fitness, Glamour, Shape, Self, Women's Health, Redbook, Good Housekeeping, MSNBC.com and has appeared on CBS, FOX and "Good Morning America." She's also a member of Cosmopolitan's Health Advisory Board, serving as the magazine's nutritional expert.
Stephanie is a native New Yorker and earned her Masters in clinical science and her RD at New York University. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, where she graduated with distinction.
Hanna Trundle, MS, RD, is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in developing educational programs and group work. Hanna was previously a research assistant at Middleberg Nutrition since 2013. In addition, Hanna has provided nutrition education lessons and performed healthy cooking demonstrations to teens and families in New York City as part of Food Bank for NYC, empowering them to enjoy food while making smarter choices.
Hanna’s interest in nutrition developed through her undergraduate studies in Anthropology at the University of Michigan which enabled her to recognize different cultural perspectives and the influences they have on our relationship with food. Hanna graduated from NYU with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and completed her Dietetic Internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
Hanna is born and raised in New York City and her hobbies include traveling, exploring new cultures (especially their cuisines) and urban farming.
Ilana Derman, MS, RD, CDN, is a Registered Dietitian who has practiced in New York for over a decade. She uniquely melds her experience from both clinical and private practice environments to provide holistic care with an extremely high level of detail.
Ilana has spent time in several major hospitals in the New York area, including Mount Sinai Medical Center, Sloan Kettering, Beth Israel and New York Methodist. Ilana also brings her experiences working in private practice at Joy Bauer Nutrition and lecturing as adjunct faculty member for several years at New York University. In her clinical and private practice work, she specializes in weight loss, diabetes management, heart health, eating disorders and other medical ailments. Ilana graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received her Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.
