The ideas of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and giving back are central to our mission. In this spirit we brought together a consortium of friends—charities, businesses and individuals—and created #GivingTuesday™, the day America comes together to give back.

92Y is proud to have been joined by an esteemed group of #GivingTuesday™ founding partners, To date, more than 2,000 organizations in all 50 states have pledged to take part and encourage their communities to participate and give whatever they can—money, expertise, time. Together, we can make #GivingTuesday™ a permanent fixture on the calendar.

When you support 92Y, you help 700 seniors remain a vibrant, independent part of our community. You give almost 8,000 New York City public school children world-class instruction in art, music and literature, which is often their only form of arts education and enrichment. You enable kids to have a camping experience that can change their lives. And adults of all ages are enriched through glorious music, intellectually stimulating lectures and wonderful classes.
