This creative conversation will address some of the timely themes of the production: the evolution from AIDS to Marriage Equality in the LGBT community, the changing face of family and how Mothers and Sons became Terrence McNally's milestone 20th Broadway show.

Tyne Daly (Katharine Gerard). Terrence McNally (Playwright) is a recipient of the Dramatists Guild Lifetime Achievement Award. He has won four Tony Awards for his plays Love! Valour! Compassion! and Master Class and his musical books for Kiss of the Spider Woman and Ragtime. The Kennedy Center recently produced three of his plays under the title Terrence McNally’s Nights at the Opera: Master Class, The Lisbon Traviata and the world premiere of Golden Age. His play And Away We Go premiered at the Pearl Theatre Company in November. In 1996 he was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame.

Sheryl Kaller's (Director) direction was seen most recently at Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Too Much Too Much Too Many by Meghan Kennedy. Ms. Kaller received a Tony Nomination for Best Director for Next Fall by Geoffrey Nauffts. She has directed at many theaters including LCT3, The New Group, Pasadena Playhouse, Primary Stages, Williamstown Theatre Festival, A.C.T., New York Stage and Film, The Geffen, Philadelphia Theater Company and Naked Angels. She has directed and developed a plethora of new plays and musicals with writers including Nick Blaemire, Billy Porter, Christopher Durang, Geoffrey Nauffts, Regina Taylor, Daniel Beaty, Dick Beebe and Alan Menken. Greatest Joys: Scott, Tobey and Tess.

92Y YourStage provides a venue for independent curators, performers, and educators to mount a professional production. Yourstage events are confirmed once they meet a threshold for ticket sales by a certain date.

YourStage events that are ON have been confirmed; PENDING events need to generate more ticket sales; If an event fails to generate enough ticket sales, the event will be CALLED OFF, and all ticket holders will be refunded.

Who is eligible for priority registration?

Individuals who have participated in 92nd Street Y programs over the past year in selected program areas, participants in certain memberships, and those who have made contributions of $500 or more to 92Y, are eligible to register for programs before they become available to the general public.

How do I know if I qualify?

Patrons that qualify for Priority Registration will receive packets in the mail explaining how to purchase online. Priority registration is normally mailed 2-3 weeks before a catalog is available. Registration information includes your Patron ID#. You can use this ID# to setup your login information online. This will allow you to register early for a course or event. Please note: if you receive a packet, you are only eligible to priority register for the programs covered in your packet.
